What is TOTAL COMMUNICATION?

According to American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), "Total Communication (TC) is a holistic approach to communication that promotes the use of all modes of communication, including sign language, spoken language, gestures, facial expressions, and environmental cues such as pictures and sounds". 

At Total Communication Therapy, LLC, we believe that all children deserve total access to all forms of communication, regardless of meeting pre-requisites or proving capability. We are passionate about supporting children but also providing support and counseling to parents who may be unfamiliar with various modes of communication.
